Netflix subscribers can now stream a horror movie described as one of the most terrifying of all time.
The streaming service has thousands of titles on offer, from dark comedy mini-series to captivating crime dramas.
But with so much choice, you end up opening Netflix and scrolling through for 10 minutes before becoming overwhelmed and sticking on The Office for the millionth time.

Fortunately, though, the platform shakes up its catalogue every few weeks, adding a wave of new titles at the start of each month.
For June, that includes a top-rated horror movie with a mind-boggling plot twist.
The story begins with a young woman named Tess (Georgina Campbell) who travels to Detroit for a job interview and books out a rental home.

When she arrives, she's startled to find the house is already occupied by a man named Keith (It's Bill Skarsgård), with an accidental double booking blamed for the mix-up.
Despite initial unease, she decides to stay the night - a decision she ends up regretting, of course.
Why? Well, she soon finds the house harbors a dark and terrifying secret in the basement - which she soon finds herself embroiled in.
The plot shifts dramatically from there on out, turning even more dark and twisted - and shocking audiences with not only jump scares, but an unimaginable curveball, too.

And we won't go spoiling it here because, honestly? The less you know going in, the better!
The movie, called Barbarian, was added to Netflix on June 1.
From director Zach Cregger, it also stars Justin Long, Matthew Patrick Davis, Richard Brake, Jaymes Butler and Kurt Braunohler.

It's racked up an impressive 92 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes, as critics gave their consensus: "Smart, darkly humorous, and above all scary, Barbarian offers a chilling and consistently unpredictable thrill ride for horror fans."
Fans had slightly more mixed reviews, but for the most part, they loved it.
"Barbarian is the most shocking and terrifying horror movie I've ever seen in my life," one fan stated. "I definitely recommend it, 10/10."

A second wrote: "One of the best horror movies I’ve see in years. Twisted, dark, a little hilarious."
A third admitted: "Screamed out loud watching this movie, clever storyline and great jump scares!"
One particular aspect viewers did take issue with, though, was the movie's ending.
"The ending landed with a dull thud, and left me wondering why I had just wasted two hours of my life," one viewer criticized, as another reckoned its conclusion 'lacked closure.'

Still, it's worth the watch for those jaw-dropping plot twists alone... trust me...
